Procurement in Scotland is constantly evolving for both buyers and suppliers. The Scottish Government’s new Procurement Strategy for 2024-28 aims to put public procurement at the heart of a sustainable economy and maximise value for the people of Scotland.
Within the strategy is an emphasis on fostering innovative and entrepreneurial responses to public sector needs and requirements, meeting social value and net zero obligations, and supporting the Scottish Government’s infrastructure investment plan, while the SME and Third Sector Action Plan 2024-26 aims to reduce the barriers for SMEs when engaging with public procurement processes.
Delivered by a range of expert speakers, our Skills Development Zones will explore these challenges, allowing delegates to learn more about the key enablers underpinning the strategies and how they can effectively engage with and support its intended outcomes.
